OptiBio Read ("we", "our", or "us") is a browser extension operated by Dourwork. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

What OptiBio Read does not collect

OptiBio Read processes web page text entirely on your device. We do not:

• Read, store, or transmit the content of web pages you visit
• Track your browsing history
• Collect analytics on what you read
• Use third-party tracking or advertising networks

Data stored locally

The following settings are stored in Chrome's sync storage on your device:

• Extension preferences (enabled/disabled, fixation level, focus mode)
• Per-site enable/disable overrides
• Trial start date and adaptation reading time
• License key (if you purchased Pro)

Data collected during purchase

If you purchase OptiBio Read Pro, we collect:

• Email address (to deliver your license key)
• Payment transaction ID (via Dodo Payments — we do not store card details)

Payment processing is handled by Dodo Payments. Please review their privacy policy for payment data handling.

License verification

When you activate a license key, the extension sends only the license key to our server at dourwork.com to verify validity. No other data is transmitted.

Permissions explained

• storage — save your preferences and license
• activeTab — apply reading transformation on the current tab
• scripting — inject the reading engine into pages
• alarms — track adaptation reading time while enabled
• host_permissions (<all_urls>) — required to transform text on websites you choose to use OptiBio Read on

Data retention

License records are retained for the lifetime of your purchase to enable re-activation. You may request deletion by emailing mail@prince.sh.

Children

OptiBio Read is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
